...and arrived

And here I am, bright and very early at my local beach, jazzed up with jetlag and ready for my first flat white. Of course - being Sydney– there are people running, walking their dogs, swimming, sitting on the beach, just chilling out, and – yes of course - having a breakfast meeting in full business suits.

left....

After the slog of international air travel across half the world, what could be better than the anticipation of arriving into Sydney at sunrise.

leaving (2)

leaving (1)

A bit unexpectedly find myself leaving the country once more, this time to Sydney for a year. The weirdest thing about packing is realising what a large proportion of my wardrobe comprises thick coats, woolly hats and scarfs, gloves, warm cardigans, winter boots and the like. Both extremely happy to be leaving this all behind (I think) and aware how much storage space it will require whilst I am gone.

So goodbye novelty Doc Martens, Russian valenki and galoshes.
